Aqua Pro Flex 2K is a flexible, two component polymer modified cementitious waterproofing membrane engineered to provide a seamless barrier against positive and negative hydrostatic water pressure. It is supplied as a complete 14 KG flexible waterproofing kit and is ideal for wet areas, foundation protection and under-tile waterproofing.

The system cures into a durable, elastic membrane with excellent adhesion to correctly prepared concrete and masonry substrates. Its flexible, crack-bridging film accommodates minor movement and hairline cracking, helping to keep treated surfaces watertight over the long term.

Surface Preparation

• Ensure the substrate is clean, sound and free from dust, oil, grease and loose material.
• Repair cracks, honeycombing and damaged areas with a suitable repair mortar before treatment.
• Remove any previous coatings that are not compatible or are poorly bonded.
• Dampen highly porous substrates with clean water before application – avoid standing water.
• Form fillets at internal corners and junctions to maintain a continuous membrane.

Mixing Instructions

1. Thoroughly stir Part A (liquid polymer component) in its container.
2. Slowly add Part B (powder component) to Part A while mixing continuously.
3. Mix with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a smooth, uniform, lump-free slurry is obtained.
4. Allow the mix to rest for a few minutes, then re-mix briefly before use.
5. Use the mixed material within the stated pot life of approximately 45 – 60 minutes.

Application Guide

1. Apply the first coat evenly using a brush, roller or trowel.
2. Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 3 – 4 hours before recoating.
3. Apply the second coat at right angles to the first for complete coverage.
4. Build the total system thickness to 1.5 – 2.0 mm across the two coats.
5. Reinforce vulnerable junctions, corners and construction joints with a suitable membrane tape where required.

Curing & Recoat Times

• Pot life: ~45 – 60 minutes after mixing
• Recoat time: ~3 – 4 hours
• Allow the completed membrane to cure fully before carrying out flood tests or laying finishes.
